There is something very addictive about being a news photographer. Perhaps it's the thrill of the chase or the challenge of getting that one unique image that will haunt people for decades. For myself it is the challenge of effecting social change throught the use of photographs and words. Perhaps that is the ultimate goal of the working photojournalist.
